Fire Department Divisions

The Administration Division provides a diverse range of support services for the Monroe Fire Department.

The Communications Division is responsible for receiving requests for emergency and non-emergency service.

The Investigations Unit is responsible for fire cause determination in the City of Monroe.

The Monroe Fire Department Maintenance Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all firefighting apparatuses, support units, equipment, and supplies that are utilized by the department.

The Operations Division provides the actual emergency response service and some non-emergency service to the citizens and visitors of the City of Monroe.

The Fire Prevention Bureau serves a vital role within the City of Monroe Fire Department as it relates to preventing the loss of life and property to the citizens we serve in our community.

The Training Division of the Monroe Fire Department is responsible for the preparation and conducting of training classes and drills.
