Traffic Signs and Signals make up a network of devices used to control traffic and provide for safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians along, streets and through intersections. The proper function of these devices is essential to provide for safe movement of traffic though our infrastructure. If you observe a STOP, YIELD, or ONE WAY sign that is damaged or badly defaced, or a Traffic Signal that is malfunctioning you should report it immediately.

Traffic Signal and Sign problems may be reported by calling the City of Monroe Traffic Engineering Department at 318-329-2434, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm weekdays (excluding holidays) or the Monroe Police Department at 318-329-2600.
