O  R  D  I  N  A  N  C  E

            The following Ordinance was offered by Mrs.  Ezernack            who moved for its adoption and was seconded by Mr.  Echols              :

AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING TWO (2) STREET RIGHT-OF-WAYS. A 37’ x 300.17’ SECTION AND A 56’ X 346.52’ SECTION (MORE OR LESS), STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY - ALLGOOD STREET AND 40’ X 1537’ MORE OR LESS, STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY – FLORIO COURT WITHIN PHASE 1C OF THE CENTURY VILLAGE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO:

            WHEREAS, Southern Lifestyle Development has requested the dedication of two (2) street rights-of-way: a 37’ X 300.17’ section and a 56’ x 346.52’ section, more or less, street right-of-way - Allgood Street and a 40’ x 1537.37’ more or less, street right-of-way – Florio Court within Phase 1C of the Century Village Planned Unit Development, and

            WHEREAS, the City of Monroe Engineering Department has inspected said street rights-of-way (Allgood Street and Florio Court), and stipulates that all improvements meet the City’s standards.

            NOW, THEREFORE

            BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Monroe, in legal session convened, that two (2) street rights-of-way: a 37’ X 300.17’ section and a 56’ x 346.52’ section, more or less, street right-of-way - Allgood Street and a 40’ x 1537.37’ more or less, street right-of-way – Florio Court within Phase 1C of the Century Village Planned Unit Development, is hereby dedicated for the ordinary use of the public.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, 

            This ordinance was INTRODUCED on the 22nd day of October 2019.

NOTICE PUBLISHED on the  25th        day of  October            , 2019.

This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published was then submitted to a final vote, the vote thereon being as follows:

AYES:             Echols, Ezernack, Woods & Clark

NAYS:             None.

ABSENT:         Wilson

            And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the  12th      day of  November   , 2019.
