Mayor Friday Ellis Holding Press Conference at Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo

(Monroe, LA) Mayor Friday Ellis will hold a press conference Friday, September 16, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo.

Mayor Ellis will detail the resolution authorizing the City of Monroe to advertise for bids for Phase 1 of the Louisiana Purchase Exhibit located at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo.

Mayor Ellis will also discuss the $1,800,000.00 grant from the Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau and how it will be used in the expansion of the Forsythe Tennis Courts.

The Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo is located at 1405 Bernstein Park Road, Monroe, LA.
