The Monroe Fire Department operates nine fire stations strategically placed throughout the city. Some stations house one fire "pumper" only for first-in firefighting and EMS, while others house a fire 'pumper' along with additional specialty units.

Smoke Alarm - City of Monroe Fire Department

The Monroe Fire Department offers "FREE" smoke alarms with installation to all City of Monroe residents. If you would like a smoke alarm installed in your home, contact our office at (318) 329-2437 or (318) 329-2475 to be scheduled for installation.
