Mayor Jamie Mayo says, “Out of an abundance of caution, and in adherence to the directives of
the proclamation signed by Governor John Bel Edwards, the City of Monroe is placing a halt to
any event held at one of our facilities with an expected crowd of 250 or more people until April
13. In addition, all of our community centers will be closed March 15th – 18th for extra
cleaning.”
