City of Monroe, LA

(Monroe, LA) The City of Monroe is opening a warming station to help locals in need escape the dangerous cold forecasted for the next few days.

The warming station is at Liller Marbles Community Center located at 2950 Renwick Street.

We will have cots and MRE’s available as needed, and we have a limited supply of blankets.

This warming station is expected to close Monday, December 26, 2022, as temperatures are forecasted to warm up.

This facility is not equipped to handle special medical needs. Those using the facility must be ambulatory and able to care for themselves.
