City of Monroe, LA

Due to last night's severe weather and the closure of Ouachita Parish and Monroe City schools today, Mayor Friday Ellis has closed City of Monroe Offices today; this closure does not include City Court.

 

Only essential personnel are required at work today.

 

Also, trash that was going to be picked up today (Wednesday) instead of Good Friday will now be picked up on Good Friday. Again, trash WILL be picked up on Good Friday.
