City of Monroe makes E-Permits and other Services Available for Residents and Contractors in lieu of Restricted Access to City Hall Annex South

Mitigation Measure taken by City of Monroe re: Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

In conjunction with the mitigation measures being taken to help prevent the spread of
Coronavirus (COVID-19), restricted access is being implemented at the City Hall Annex South,
located at 3901 Jackson Street. The facility houses our Planning & Urban Development
Department (which in comprised of our Code Enforcement, Inspections, Planning & Zoning,
and Community Development divisions). However, services will continue via online, phone
and email services.

Mayor Jamie Mayo comments, “In order to continue the facilitation of much needed services
within our Planning & Urban Development Department, we have implemented measures that
allow our permitting, code enforcement and other processes & programs to continue with social
distancing.”

Permits for Homeowners and Contractors via Online Portal

Homeowners and contractors can continue to do business with our Planning and Urban
Development Department by using the online portal for permits and development projects.
