City of Monroe, LA

(Monroe, LA) The City of Monroe’s Traffic and Engineering Department have announced the following temporary road closures due to an upcoming Cross Drain Replacement:

1. The closure of through traffic from South Grand at Apple Street to South Grand at Pear Street.

Detours for north and southbound traffic will be on Jackson Street.

This closure will begin Saturday, February 4, 2023 – February 17, 2023 from 7AM – 5PM daily, until the job is complete.

Drivers are reminded to use caution in construction zones. Allow yourself extra time to reach your destination safely.
