The Monroe Fire Department announces the temporary closure of the Betin/Breard St. Fire Station.

Work is currently being done to the HVAC units inside of the station and a mechanical closet. In an effort for the work to be completed all at once, MFD is temporarily closing the station. This closure will last for one week and normal operations should resume on Monday October 17th .

During the closure of Station #5, personnel and trucks will remain in service, but will be relocated to stations that adjoin their response zone.
