School Resource and Truancy Officers
The Monroe Police Department has School Resource and Truancy Officers who work at six Monroe public schools, thanks to a cooperative endeavor supported by Mayor Mayo, Monroe City Council, Dr. Brent Vidrine, and the Monroe City School Board.
Primary Goal
The officers work with administrators, faculty/staff members, and parents to provide safety and guidance to students at Carroll, Neville, and Wossman High Scools; and, at Carroll, Lee and Martin Luther King Jr. Middle Schools.
