Public Notice of Disaster Drill Training at Monroe Regional Airport
The Monroe Regional airport will be conducting a Disaster Drill beginning at 9 AM
Wednesday, March 27, 2019. There will be a large presence of emergency vehicles and
personnel around the airport. Passengers arriving and departing the airport should not be
alarmed. This drill is mandated by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and is conducted
every three (3) years. Normal airport operations will continue during this exercise.
Members of the media are encouraged to attend and must assemble at the south end of the
terminal (gravel parking) no later than 8:45 AM to be escorted to the drill site.
