PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Monroe, Louisiana, on the 8th  day of  October , 2024 in the Council Chamber, City Hall Building, beginning at 6:00 p.m., to consider the following proposed amendment to the Zoning Map:

An amendment to the Zoning Map to rezone a ±12.01-acre tract of land located at 3801 Chauvin Lane, Monroe, LA, from B-1 (Neighborhood Mixed Use) District to the B-3 (General Business/Commercial) District; the stated purpose of the application is to allow the applicant to seek a liquor license to have on-premises alcohol sales at a café and restaurant in the facility;

APPLICANT: Monroe Athletic Club (MA 102-24)

All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard.  The proposed changes to the Zoning Map are on file and open to the inspection of the public in the office of the Monroe Planning & Zoning Division, City Hall Annex, 802 North 31st Street, Monroe, Louisiana.
