Mayor Jamie Mayo says, "In order to truly expand our local economy - small businesses, minority owned businesses and women owned businesses must have access and opportunities to compete for jobs.  That is why our DBE program, the Monroe Access Program, is so important.  Our goal is to help empower businesses by putting them on the MAP.  We put businesses on the MAP through to access to project opportunities and prime contractors.  Access leads to competition, and competition benefits the City of Monroe while also creating opportunities for DBE's and prime contractors to succeed."

If you want to put your business on the MAP, then this workshop is perfect for you.  Meet and network with City of Monroe decision makers, project designers, and general contractors.  Learn how to become certified for local, state, federal government and possible corporate projects.  This event is for certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and businesses interested in doing work with the City of Monroe.
