Local Civic Club to host Annual Appreciation Day for City of Monroe Garbage Workers

The local Samoan Civic and Social Club will host their annual Garbage Workers Appreciation Day lunch 11:30 am Wednesday, June 14, 2017. The event will be held at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo Pavilion, located at 1405 Bernstein Park Rd, Monroe, LA. The event is for City of Monroe garbage workers.

National Garbage Man Day is held annually in June and celebrated in municipalities across the country. Residents are encouraged to do kind gestures to show their appreciation for the work done by the hardworking men and women who help dispose of our solid waste.
