WHAT: Executives from BancorpSouth will make a special check presentation to Mayor Jamie Mayo and Planning & Urban Development Director Ellen Hill in support of the City of Monroe’s homeownership program. 

WHEN: 9:45 am Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Monroe City Hall 

Mayor Jamie Mayo says, “Homeownership is critical for growth and development our city. Neighborhood Revitalization efforts lead by Planning and Urban Development, is focused on developing partnerships with private sector partners to assist residents achieve the important milestone of ownership.” 

Planning & Urban Development Director Ellen Hill adds, “BancorpSouth is one of our local private partners who share our vision for increasing homeownership. They are investing through a contribution of funds that will be used for down payment assistance for residents who go through our program.”
