Mayor Jamie Mayo and the Monroe City Council announce the following CLOSURES in observance of the September 5, 2016, Labor Day Holiday:

  • All Monroe City Offices & Departments
  • Masur Museum of Art
  • Monroe City Court
  • Monroe City Marshals
  • Monroe Civic Center  
  • Monroe Recreation/Community Centers
  • Monroe Transit System

The following will be OPEN on September 5, 2016:

Chennault Park Golf Course
MUNY (Forsythe Park) Golf Course
Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo

Labor Day Holiday Garbage Schedule

Garbage normally picked up on Monday, will be picked up on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
