Temporary Road Closure – (Desiard Street-Phase 2)

UPDATE
The road closure scheduled to begin Wednesday, October 22, 2025, has been cancelled and roads are open at all intersections to through traffic. The road closure will be updated to begin Monday, October 27, 2025, through Wednesday, October 29, 2025, or until further notice. Thank you and make it a great day!

Desiard Street at the intersection of North 3rd Street to North 6th Street headed east will be closed to through traffic beginning, Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Amethyst Construction will mill the existing asphalt to overlay new asphalt and will have flaggers to guide vehicles safely through or around work zones during this time. This closure is expected to be in effect for 3 days (weather permitting), or until the work is complete. Traffic can detour at Harrison Street and Grammont Street or Washington Street heading east or west. Please plan your routes accordingly.
