This objective is best achieved through the city’s policies, programs, and activities of the following divisions: Code Enforcement and Community Development. The Department’s work involves directing and overseeing code compliance, community revitalization initiatives, long-range planning for housing and community development programs, support services for community agencies and city departments, and development & management of federal urban renewal programs.
