WHAT: Partial road closure to through traffic
WHEN: Sunday, October 12, 2025 – Monday, October 20, 2025

Entergy’s Transmission Operations will perform maintenance to change transmission structures in the City of Monroe and will have the below streets temporarily closed:
- Hilton Street from 8th Street to 10th Street, beginning October 12th – October 16th
- 7th Street from Rochelle Avenue to Downey Lane, beginning October 15th – October 16th
- The intersection of Pine Street and N. 17th Street beginning October 20th
Entergy’s Transmission Operations crew will have the referenced roadways partially closed throughout the days noted if weather permits. Traffic Control will be placed/maintained by Entergy’s Transmission Operations.
**We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe thanks you in advance for your patience while work is in process and reminds you to drive with caution while in the work area. Be on the lookout for work crews and equipment and please be mindful of all construction signage in the area. Be advised that it is illegal to drive around barricades**.
