Desiard Street at the intersection of N. 6th Street and Hall Street will be closed to through traffic beginning, Monday, October 6, 2025. Amethyst Construction will do a demolition which will cause the intersection to be closed for eastbound and westbound traffic. This closure is expected to be in effect for 7 days (weather permitting), or until the work is complete. Traffic can detour at Harrison Street and Washington Street. Please plan your routes accordingly.
**We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe thanks you in advance for your patience while work is in process and reminds you to drive with caution while in the work area. Be advised that it is illegal to drive around barricades**.
