Art Alley (Downtown Monroe, LA) will be closed beginning Friday, October 3, 2025, to through traffic while Amethyst Construction dig holes to create concrete sleeves to form a secure anchor deck post. This closure is expected to be in effect until October 7, 2025 (weather permitting), or until the work is complete. Please plan your routes accordingly.
**We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe thanks you in advance for your patience while work is in process and reminds you to drive with caution while in the work area. Be advised that it is illegal to drive around barricades**.
