Please be advised that the I-20 overpass at Russell Sage will be temporarily closed from Sunday, May 3, 2026, through Wednesday, May 6.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises motorists that DOTD maintenance forces will be making roadway repairs along the Russell Sage Overpass beginning Sunday, May 3, 2026 and continuing through Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The Russell Sage overpass will be closed while workers are present. Intermittent ramp closures may also be required while maintenance forces make repairs.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled as follows:
Sunday, May 3, 2026 – 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Monday, May 4, 2026 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Tuesday, May 5, 2026 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Wednesday, May 6, 2026 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
