City of Monroe to Host 2026 Housing Fair & Expo

(Monroe, LA) – The City of Monroe will host the 2026 Housing Fair & Expo on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Abe Pierce Convention Center, connecting residents with housing, financial and employment resources in one setting.
A featured component of this year’s event is the Financial Empowerment Scholarship Program, offered in partnership with financial educator Tiffany “The Budgetnista” Aliche. The program supports individuals on their path to financial freedom by providing scholarships for a six-month, results-driven course focused on practical money-management skills and long-term financial stability.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with financial institutions, housing developers and community organizations offering information on homeownership, rental options, job opportunities and supportive services available throughout the community.
Door prizes and giveaways will be offered during the event.
The Housing Fair & Expo is free and open to the public.
