The intersection of N. Grand St. and Desiard St. will be closed to through traffic traveling south. The alternate route is Walnut St. at Washington St., and cross over to North 4th St.

The intersection of South Grand St. and Desiard St. will close to southbound traffic beginning April 25, 2025, at 9 AM for approximately one (1) week or until further notice.

Pecan Street at South 6th Street will be closed to through traffic while the City of Monroe installs a Bypass Sewer Line.

Mayor Friday Ellis announces City of Monroe offices and facilities will be closed Friday, April 18, 2025, in observance of Good Friday. Offices will reopen Monday, April 21, 2025.

Hall Street at North 5th Street will be closed to through traffic while Amethyst Construction installs a storm drain.

The intersection at South 4th Street and Beauregard Street will be closed to through traffic as Hemphill Construction installs a new sewer manhole.

The south bound lane of Walnut Street , encompassing the 200-block and the 300 block, will be closed to through traffic as work is being done for the Candy Company Remediation Project.

The Tax & Revenue and Utilities offices are relocating from 316 Breard Street to a new, more accessible location at 1401 Stubbs Avenue, the Monroe Business Hub.

Desiard St. will close from the intersection of South Grand St. to Walnut St., beginning March 17, 2025, at 9 AM until further notice.
