(Monroe, LA) – The City of Monroe is excited to announce the return of Downtown Monroe’s River Market! This favorite community gathering spot is set to reopen starting this Saturday, April 19, from 9 AM to 1 PM, with another River Market set for May 10. Nestled along the Ouachita River, the Downtown Monroe River Market is the perfect place to soak in the warm weather, celebrate community, and support local artisans.
This year, the River Market promises an even better selection of local talent and art. Visitors can look forward to a selection of special, handmade items, including pottery, art, body products, candles, and much more. Each market day will offer an opportunity to meet the artists behind the creations, making every visit a personal experience and a chance to find that perfect, one-of-a-kind item. The River Market is pet-friendly, so we encourage visitors to bring their furry friends along for a day of local shopping.
