The intersection of N. Grand St. and Desiard St. will be closed to through traffic traveling south. The alternate route is Walnut St. at Washington St., and cross over to North 4th St. Traffic traveling east can take Endom Bridge to N. 6th St. and traffic traveling west can take N. 4th St. to Endom Bridge.
This closure is due to Amethyst Construction working on sidewalks for the Desiard St. Improvements Project (Phase 2). This closure is expected to be in effect for one (1) week (weather permitting), or until the work is complete.. Please plan your routes accordingly.
**We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe thanks you in advance for your patience while work is in process and reminds you to drive with caution while in the work area. Be advised that it is illegal to drive around barricades**.
