WHAT: Road Closure to through traffic – Alabama Street
WHEN: Monday, May 18, 2026 (weather permitting)

Alabama Street will be closed to through traffic at the intersection of Winnsboro Road and Parker Street beginning Monday, May 18, 2026, at 7 am for Pully Construction, Inc. to cross the road with a 42″ Force Main near 514 Alabama Street as part of the Georgia Street Pump Station Project that is underway. This closure is expected to be in effect until Tuesday, May 19, 2026, (weather permitting), or until the work is complete. All traffic traveling north of 514 Alabama Street will have access to enter Alabama from Winnsboro Road. Traffic traveling south of 514 Alabama Street will have access to enter Alabama from Parker Street. Barricades and road closure signs will be placed/maintained to ensure the safety of motorist and pedestrians. Please plan your routes accordingly.
