Desiard St. will close from the intersection of South Grand St. to Walnut St., beginning March 17, 2025, at 9 AM until further notice. This will allow Amethyst Construction to install two (2) new street drainage crossings. All traffic heading east can detour to North Grand St. or South Grand St. All traffic heading west can detour south at St. John St. The residents located in the 141 Building can exit on Walnut St. or left on Desiard St. to St. John St. Please plan your route accordingly.
**We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe thanks you in advance for your patience while work is in process and reminds you to drive with caution while in the work area. Be advised that it is illegal to drive around barricades**.
