Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo Reopens to the Public

(Monroe, LA) – The Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo will reopen to the public today, Thursday, February 5 at 10AM following temporary closures due to damage caused by Winter Storm Fern.
City crews and zoo staff have worked to address storm-related impacts and ensure grounds are safe for visitors. The City appreciates the public’s patience during the closure and looks forward to welcoming families back to the zoo.
“Thanks to the dedication of our team, the zoo is ready to safely welcome guests back. We truly appreciate the community’s patience and support and look forward to reopening our gates,” said Zoo Director Phillip Crawley.
