Entergy’s Transmission Operations will be replacing a light pole in the City of Monroe and will temporarily close Park Avenue and North 10th Street intersection directly in front of Genusa’s Restaurant. Entergy’s Transmission Operations crew will have the roadway closed beginning at 7 AM until work is complete on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Traffic Control will be placed/maintained by Entergy’s Transmission Operations to ensure the safety of motorist and pedestrians.
**We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe thanks you in advance for your patience while work is in process and reminds you to drive with caution while in the work area. Be on the lookout for work crews and equipment and please be mindful of all construction signage in the area. Be advised that it is illegal to drive around barricades**.
