City of Monroe Martin Luther King Junior Day Closures and Trash Schedule

(Monroe, LA) – Mayor Friday Ellis announces that City of Monroe facilities will be closed Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day. City offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 20.
Trash pickup normally scheduled for Monday, January 19, has been moved to Wednesday, January 21.
City Courts will also be closed to the public Monday, January 19, reopening Tuesday, January 20.
Monroe Transit will be closed Monday, January 19 and reopens Tuesday, January 20 for regular service.
Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo will be open to the public.
