TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION – THOMAS AVENUE AT GEORGIA STREET CROSSING VIRGINIA STREET

WHAT: Temporary Water Service Interruption – Thomas Avenue at Georgia Street crossing Virginia Street
WHEN: Monday, August 17, 2026 (weather permitting)

Please be advised that water services will temporarily be interrupted beginning on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 2 a.m. at the intersection of Thomas Avenue at Georgia Street crossing over to Virginia Street for Don Barron Construction, LLC to do a water inspection to install upgrades soon. Surrounding areas may experience some low water pressure or fluctuations; however, the contractor will work diligently to restore the water within 4 to 6 hours. We recommend that storing enough water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation needs during the service interruption. Ensure all taps remain completely turned off during the outage. Slight discoloration may occur immediately after service is restored; however, we suggest that you run water at least 1 to 2 minutes. Please plan accordingly.
