A Message from the Council Chairman:
As the City of Monroe prepares for inclement weather, City Hall and non-essential offices will be closed Monday January 26. The City Council Meeting scheduled for Monday, January 26th at 5pm has been canceled and the next scheduled meeting will be February 10, 2026, at 6pm. If an emergency arises the city council will meet in special meeting to deal with any emergency.
The State of Louisiana as well as our local government has issued an inclement weather alert, please take precautions.
