Twin Cities to Unveil 250th Anniversary Celebration Events During Media Kickoff

(Monroe, LA) – Community leaders from Monroe and West Monroe will gather Tuesday, June 16, for the Twin Cities’ 250th Anniversary Celebration Media Kickoff, where officials will unveil the lineup of events and activities planned to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary.
Due to weather, the event will now be held at The Hotel Monroe, located at 120 Walnut Street in downtown Monroe.
The media kickoff will bring together elected officials, community partners and event organizers to provide an overview of local celebrations planned as part of the nationwide commemoration. Attendees will learn how the Twin Cities will join communities across the country in recognizing this historic milestone.
Featured announcements will include details about the July 4th Parade and the July 4th Fireworks and Drone Show, along with other events and initiatives designed to engage residents and visitors throughout the celebration.
