TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – GEORGIA STREET PUMP STATION PROJECT (Winnsboro Road Closure)

WHAT: Emergency Road Closure to through traffic – Winnsboro Road
WHEN: Thursday, June 11, 2026 (weather permitting)

Winnsboro Road will be closed to through traffic at the intersections of Alabama Street and Mississippi Street beginning Thursday, June 11, 2026, due to Pulley Construction, Inc, preparing a portion of the street for construction as this is part of the Georgia Street Pump Station Project that is underway. This closure is expected to be in effect until Friday, June 12, 2026, until 6 pm, (weather permitting), or until the work is complete. All traffic traveling north of Alabama Street and Mississippi will have access to enter Alabama Street and Mississippi Street from Plum Street. Traffic traveling south of Alabama Street will have access to enter Alabama Street and Mississippi Street from Parker Street. Barricades and road closure signs will be placed/maintained to ensure the safety of motorist and pedestrians. Please plan your routes accordingly.
