TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – DESIARD STREET PHASE II (North 4th Street and Catalpa Street Intersection)

Desiard Street at the intersection of North 4th Street and Catalpa Street will be closed to through traffic beginning, Monday, November 11, 2025. Amethyst Construction will begin laying brick pavers for the new crosswalk. This closure is expected to be in effect for 5 days (weather permitting), or until the work is complete. Traffic can detour at Harrison Street, Grammont Street and Washington Street. Please plan your routes accordingly.
**We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe thanks you in advance for your patience while work is in process and reminds you to drive with caution while in the work area. Be advised that it is illegal to drive around barricades**.
