WHAT: Road Closure to through traffic – Alabama Street
WHEN: Wednesday, June 3, 2026 (weather permitting)

Alabama Street will be closed to through traffic at the intersection of Winnsboro Road and Parker Street beginning Wednesday, June 3, 2026, due to Pulley Construction, Inc, preparing a portion of the street for construction as this is part of the Georgia Street Pump Station Project that is underway. This closure is expected to be in effect until Friday, June 5, 2026, until 6 pm, (weather permitting), or until the work is complete. All traffic traveling north of 514 Alabama Street will have access to enter Alabama Street from Winnsboro Road. Traffic traveling south of 514 Alabama Street will have access to enter Alabama Street from Parker Street. Barricades and road closure signs will be placed/maintained to ensure the safety of motorist and pedestrians. Please plan your routes accordingly.
