City of Monroe to host annual DOTD District 05 Road Show

(MONROE, LA) – The City of Monroe will host the annual DOTD District 05 Road Show at 2PM Tuesday, October 27, 2026, in the Miro-Madison Room at the Monroe Civic Center, located at 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expressway. The public hearing will review proposed highway construction priorities for fiscal year 2027-2028. The public is invited to attend and comment on proposed projects. Written comments may be submitted at the hearing, mailed to the Joint Transportation, Highways, and Public Works Committee, ℅ LA DOTD (Section 45), P.O. Box 94245, Baton Rouge, LA 70804-9245, or through the DOTD online comment portal. Mailed comments must be
postmarked within 45 days after the hearing.
