City of Monroe Opens Warming Station

(Monroe, LA) – The City of Monroe is opening a Warming Station at the Liller Marbles Community Center, located at 2950 Renwick Street.
It will be operational from Monday, January 12, 2026 at 3 p.m. remaining operational while cold weather conditions persist.
Equipped with cots, Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs) and water, the facility aims to provide a safe and comfortable environment for anyone seeking relief from the cold
It is important to note that the Warming Station is not equipped to accommodate individuals with special medical needs or pets. Visitors to the facility are required to be ambulatory and able to care for themselves.
