Mayor Friday Ellis Declares State of Emergency Ahead of Winter Weather

(Monroe, LA) – Monroe Mayor Friday Ellis has declared a State of Emergency as winter weather is expected to impact the City Friday, January 23 through Sunday, January 25. The National Weather Service has issued cold weather advisories and extreme cold warnings, along with a Winter Storm Watch for much of Louisiana.
