North 14th Street will be closed at the intersection of Pine Street to Arkansas Ave beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Southeast Connections will be replacing a steel gas main for Atmos Energy.
Repair work will take place daily from 8AM – 5PM for the next 5 business days(weather permitting) or until the work is complete. The street will reopen every evening when repair work concludes for the day.
**We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe thanks you in advance for your patience while work is in process and reminds you to drive with caution while in the work area. Be advised that it is illegal to drive around barricades**.
