The following Ordinance was offered by Mr. Wilson who moved for its adoption and was seconded by Mr. Clark :
AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING FOUR (4) STREET RIGHT-OF-WAYS (INCLUDING THE STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM): A 67’ x 485’, MORE OR LESS, STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY - EXTENSION OF CENTURY LINK DRIVE; A 54’ X 302’, MORE OR LESS, STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY - CAVELL STREET; A 67’ X 721’, MORE OR LESS, STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY – ALLGOOD STREET AND A 67’ X 623’, MORE OR LESS, STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY (TAPERS TO 54’ AT CENTURYLINK DRIVE) – CENTURY VILLAGE BOULEVARD, EXCLUDING THE SOUTHERN MOST 90’, MORE OR LESS, SECTION WHERE ONLY THE UNPAVED PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY IS BEING ACCEPTED WITHIN PHASE 1A OF THE CENTURY VILLAGE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO:

WHEREAS, Southern Lifestyle Development has requested the dedication of four (4) street rights-of-way (including the storm drainage system): a 67’ x 485’, more or less, street right-of-way - Extension of Century Link drive; a 54’ x 302’, more or less, street right-of-way - Cavell Street; a 67’ x 721’, more or less, street right-of-way – Allgood street and a 67’ x 623’, more or less, street right-of-way (tapers to 54’ at Centurylink Drive) – Century Village Boulevard, excluding the southernmost 90’, more or less, section where only the unpaved portion of the right-of-way is being accepted within Phase 1a of the Century Village Planned Unit Development, and
WHEREAS, the City of Monroe Engineering Department has inspected said street rights-of-way (Extension of Century Link Drive, Cavell Street, Allgood Street and Century Village Boulevard), including the storm drainage system and stipulates that all improvements meet the City’s standards.
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Monroe, in legal session convened, that four (4) street rights-of-way (including the storm drainage system): a 67’ x 485’, more or less, street right-of-way - Extension of Century Link Drive; a 54’ x 302’, more or less, street right-of-way - Cavell street; a 67’ x 721’, more or less, street right-of-way – Allgood street and a 67’ x 623’, more or less, street right-of-way (tapers to 54’ at Centurylink Drive) – Century Village Boulevard, excluding the southernmost 90’, more or less, section where only the unpaved portion of the right-of-way is being accepted within Phase 1a of the Century Village Planned Unit Development, is hereby dedicated for the ordinary use of the public.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED,
This ordinance was INTRODUCED on the 9th day of October 2018.
NOTICE PUBLISHED on the 12th day of October , 2018.
This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published was then submitted to a final vote, the vote thereon being as follows:
AYES: Echols, Ezernack, Woods, Wilson & Clark
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the 23rd day of October , 2018
