The City of Monroe’s Engineering Department will temporary close a road. Details about the upcoming closure are listed below:

WHAT:

Temporary Road Closure Lee Ave Road Closure, closed to South bound traffic.

WHEN:

Sunday, January 30, 2022 @ Noon until further notice.

WHY:

Installation of new sewer main and road construction.

DETOURS:

• Detours for closure of South bound traffic of Lee Ave will detour @ Mouton St.
• Detours for closure of West bound Traffic of Standifer will detour @ South Grand.
• Detours for closure of East bound traffic of Standifer will detour @ Dick Taylor.
• Detours for closure of North bound traffic will detour @ Benton.

We understand that this may create a short-term inconvenience. The City of Monroe appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction area. Be on the lookout for work crews and equipment in the work area, and please be mindful of all construction signage in the area.
